It Is By Grace We Have Been Saved

God, help us to always remember that your loving grace is what saved us…

Ephesians 2:3-5 NIV All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. (4) But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, (5) made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions–it is by grace you have been saved.

Jesus, we don’t ever want to forget the source of our salvation. It’s all from you: your grace in the love that you have for us.

We don’t ever want to fool ourselves into thinking that it’s because of anything that we did or didn’t do. We were completely lost. We didn’t deserve saving, but you, being a God of immeasurable love and compassion, stepped in and saved us. We need you.

We have always needed you, God, and we always will need you. We love you, Jesus.

Holy Spirit, save Jim’s marriage:

My wife Jennie left after 24 yrs. Pray that God heals and restores our relationship. Pray God gives me the right words to say in my texts and phone messages to Jennie, and that we are able to communicate and start rebuilding our marriage. Pray God stops and further prevents any more distance from growing between Jennie and I. Pray God heals her heart toward me, brings her back home to us and re-unites our family. Pray God delivers Jennie from the influence of her friend, who has told Jennie to ‘live life and enjoy herself’, and has kept her away from us a lot in the last year. Pray God brings a strong Christian friend into Jennie’s life and provides her with a moral compass. Please pray God saves Jennie and delivers her from alcohol and oppression and severe depression (caused in part demonic activity and sexual abuse by her ex). Pray God heals Jennie’s heart toward me and that he brings home. I love her with all my heart.

God, we praise you for your blessings, and ask for continued wisdom and favor in Danna’s new job:

Thank you to all who prayed with Danna Campster as I went through the interview process with Sisters of St. Joseph. I am happy to report I received the blessing of getting the job. I need prayer that I am put on the schedule to work in the next couple weeks. That I am given opportunity to train for dish room. I need to work at least three days a week to pay bills & move into my own apartment. Please pray my hope is restored, my walk with God is elevated, & I focus on God. I also need help with tithing & managing my money better. I also need to learn to prioritize my money & time. That all my anxiety, fear & doubts are removed from my heart. That I am still listening for Gods direction & guidance.

We also pray for Sarah and Joey:

Please lift up Joey in Prayer. Please pray for him and our relationship. Please pray that he wont forget how much I love him and that I just want to have a good relationship and to be with him. He dose not want to be loved but he chose me. So that has to say something. We Both Live in Tulsa, OK but he works 16 hour shifts. and Takes care of his mom. He is the love of my life. But God has to step in and make him see that.

God, heal Allan in Malawi, and bless him financially so he can study abroad:

Its been more than 2 years now on wheelchair after a car accident. I have a spinal cord injury and am paraplegic. Its my prayer and belief that some day I will be well again. Knowing that despite this predicament, I still have a life to live and that college education might be a step ahead to a good future, I applied to study at a college in Utah USA and I was accepted. Thank you Jesus. Now the problem I have is that am short on funds for my tuition and this is the reason am asking you brothers and sisters to help me in prayers that something should come up and I go ahead to get a degree. Thank you.

We speak healing over Allan and ask that your amazing Kingdom would come in his spinal cord. We welcome your presence in his body and know that it must glorify your mighty name, Jesus!

We lift up Sherri’s prayer request from South Africa for her mother’s healing and restoration as well:

Please please pray for my mother, Vivienne to be healed from head to toe, to be rid of all negative thoughts, people and situations. To find a job and be financially stable, to find good Christian friends. To be filled with happiness, positivity, good health, finances, love and faith. Please pray for her to have a stable loving home and for all past hurt to disappear and for the depression to vanish.

Lord, thank you for healing Felipa, God, and for praying sisters like Danna:

Thank you to all those who have been praying for Felipa. She is doing much better, her pain isn’t constant & her spirits have been lifted. There have been no advancements in her cancer. God is so good!!! I ask that you please continue to pray. Felipa has to go for MRI, so they can schedule surgery. Please pray that the hands of surgeon are guided by God. Please pray her worry, fear, & anxiety is removed from Felipa. That through Jesus Christ the storm going on inside her is made still & she receives peace. Please pray that Felipa relieves how much love God has for her. That she has unity & harmony with the Holly Spirit. That she is no longer concerned about trying to remember prayers she learned or praying to anyone but God directly. That she shares what’s in her heart & mind with God & she is reassured he listening.

God, bring complete restoration to BK’s dad. Cancer, bow before the name of Jesus, and leave this man’s body!:

My dad has recurrence of throat cancer and the cancer is spreading fast . Scan results shows clusters of tumor inside the lungs. In addition colon scan also show a tumor growth. The doctor has predicted his life expectancy is 6 months or less. Currently he on palliative care, he needs to intake multiple pills for live support, and daily dose of morphine to ease the chronic nerve pain which is wrecking his life. As he slip away, he is getting weaker every day. He is not able to intake solid food, and live support is based on liquid food delivered via a tube from nose to his stomach.

My dad is a good man. He has worked hard for all his life to support the family of eight, and see us through college and university educations. As much as we hope that he will recover, it is despairing to see that he is losing the fight with cancer. To all brothers, sisters and follow friends, please help us with a prayer to ease his pain. Thank you.

God, thank you for the plan that you have for Nani. Save her marriage, Father:

My marriage of 33 years is about to end. Lots of regrets and misunderstanding for both. We have sold our house and have to move out in 12 days. Pray the sale falls though and we have time to reconcile. Once we each move into our place, I do not think we will get back together. That is why staying here is so important.

Thank you for providing for Joy and her husband. Holy Spirit, bring her comfort and peace, and rain down financial breakthrough on her family:

My husband is in a nursing home – i have 2 special needs kids! Right now, I am in need of some miracles!!! Please pray with me for miracles of provisions!!

I am in urgent need to pay my bills – $3750. I work for Jesus everyday, but not in a paid position. I have no money. I need to pay my mortgage. Electric is being turned off. Gas is being turned off. I need to buy my son’s medicines. I am so depressed right now. I have tried to get a job, but I can only work hours my son in school. Due to his special needs, he cannot be left alone. Please pray for some miracles to occur for my family – financially!

My father’s laundry business is declining and he would like to try another business venture: an auto body workshop which was originally his profession. I pray that God give him guidance, wisdom and knowledge. I pray that God provide him with the right location for the business and that this business be successful. I pray that god will provide a job for me in or close to my area. He knows I do not have a car, any experience but a degree when I completed my studies in 2010. He knows what challenges I can handle and what I am capable of. I pray that he blesses me with a job that has relevance to my degree. He knows what is perfect for me. He is my father and my provider he told me to ask and it shall be given, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened. I am his daughter and I know he wants the best for me. I am thankful for his constant provision, protection and guidance. I pray in Jesus’ name that he will provide the perfect job for me it has been almost 4 years and I am and continue to wait for him to answer my pray. Amen

God, help Lani’s friend to find her missing cat in the Philippines.

Pray Heidi gets to volunteer charity at my son’s school, and pray I get employed there too until I get a full-time job. I wish money wasn’t so tight.
