Father, thank you for your encouragement this morning…
Yes, Lord. We will fix our eyes on the unseen realm of the spirit. We want to connect with the true nature of the world around us. We want to be more aware of your presence and the spiritual repercussions of our every decision. We want our words, our work, our love, our decisions for and against things to all glorify you and to have a lasting impact that furthers your Kingdom, Lord.
God, help us to remember to pray without ceasing and to make a large part of that prayer life about giving thanks to you for your never-ending, splendorous glory and grace. Let that joyful attitude of thanksgiving be a testimony to people who are struggling in life. We want them to see the light in our eyes and hearts and say, “I want that too!” Then we trust you, Holy Spirit, to answer that new found desire in their hearts.
