God, no matter what our circumstances are in life, help us to keep everything in the perspective of your eternal glory. Help us to remember the truth about our existence right now: that this world is not all there is and that, thanks to you, Jesus, we can rise above it in victory.
Holy Spirit, help us to shake off the baggage that would weigh us down and to let the attacks of the enemy bounce off of our shield of faith. When we are hurting, whether that hurt is emotional or physical, remind us to bring those hurts to you. We are not alone, and no human being can do for our spirits what you can, God. You are our source- not our spouse, not our parents, not our best friend, not a stranger who will listen to us complain- it’s you and only you, God! We give you all of our worries, all of our hurts, all of our hopes, and all of our dreams.
