Holy Spirit, we want this scripture to be true in each of our lives…
Jesus, thanks to you, we don’t have to be overcome by shame or guilt because of past sins, but our conscience may reveal to us that our hearts aren’t fully devoted to you. We want our consciences to show that we have given ourselves completely to your commission of love and sharing your Gospel of salvation. We want our souls to be entirely free of hatred and animosity toward any person or corner of the world.
We want to be completely reliant on you and your grace, Jesus. We want our conscience to clearly bear witness that we are wholly abandoned to you. Worldly wisdom would tell us that we simply need to strive harder; to do more; to grit our teeth and trust no one but ourselves. We know that this will never be enough to truly achieve peace in ourselves and harmony with others. We need your grace and mercy, Jesus, and you are faithful and true to give it to us, giving us this beautiful, abundant life! You are so good, God.
Father, we join our sister, Misty, in her desperate prayer request for your help:
Yes, Lord. Open the floodgates of the blessings of Heaven on Misty and her family. Provide for her every need and then some. Thank you for what you’re doing in Misty’s heart, God.
Thank you for my sister, “B”, from New Zealand, Lord. Thank you for helping her with her needs:
God, we join our sister, Julia, in her prayer:
Yes, Lord. We also lift up this UK prayer request from Eva:
God, on this Memorial Day in the USA, we remember all of the troops who died for their countries across the world. Be with their families who are without them, Jesus. Thank you for giving the soldiers the courage to fight and protect their countries and their loved ones, and thank you for giving courage and peace to their families as they continue without them. Let their sacrifices bring peace and prosperity to their nations and their families. Thank you, Lord.
