Jesus, help us to remember this word from you every day of our lives, everywhere we go, and when we speak with anyone…
Holy Spirit, it seems like our knee-jerk reaction so frequently is to judge the people around us. Even when we have no right, we pass judgment in our minds and hearts. Help us, Jesus! When you did not judge the people around you and even now, you do not judge us when we fall short of your glory, who do we think we are to judge a single person? You’re well within your right to judge us guilty simply for our unjust judgment of others, but you don’t.
Instead, you show us boundless love and compassion. You call us your children. We are actually co-heirs with you, Jesus, and that free gift is available to everyone around us. Instead of calling us to spread judgment, you call us to spread your love and the good news of the freedom and life that is available through you. Give us a passion for that calling. Holy Spirit, we want to continue to lay ourselves bare in front of you. We want to open every part of our hearts to your revelation- the revelation of who you are; who we are, and what you have called us to do while we’re on this planet. Thank you, Lord.
Holy Spirit, wrap Don and his family in your arms. They are hurting after the loss of his mother. Comfort his father who is mourning the loss of his beautiful bride today. Bring them peace and help them all to know that your heart is hurting with them, and that you will never leave them. Their mother is in your perfect care now. Thank you, Jesus.
We lift up Abi and her boyfriend to you, God:
Please pray that God may shower both of us with His love and mercy in these trying times. I really hope that he and I will see each other and spend time together really soon. I am begging God’s divine intervention to help us be stronger and have more patience.
All that we have is our undying faith in God, so he and I can get back together soon. May the Father hear and grant us our prayers. Only God can make anything possible. Amen.
We agree with Linda’s prayer about headache and migraine pain:
Yes, Lord, we command the pain that is plaguing Linda to go right now, in Jesus’ mighty name.
