Holy Spirit, fill us with your refreshing life. Clean out the dusty, dead things that we carry around in our hearts. We lay down old hurts, things that happened to us years ago, addictions, obsessions, Lord we lay it all at your feet and leave it there. Help us to move on. 2nd Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” God, you’ve already changed us as soon as we became Christians. We just have to catch up and let go of “the old.” God, help us to take out the trash. We take off the old rags of our old life and put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-20). God, thank you that while the Thief comes to rob, kill, and destroy, you have come that we may have an abundant, overflowing life! (John 10:10) Thank you, Jesus.
