Lord, we humble ourselves before you. We lay down our pride at your feet. We crucify the pride of our flesh and any inclination that we can do this LIFE thing on our own. We need you!
8 Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. 9 Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world are going through the same kind of suffering you are.
Thank you for that word, God. We cast all of our cares upon you because you care for us. We humble ourselves and put our faith in you. Holy Spirit, burn it into our minds that we can’t add a single hour to our lives by worrying (Matthew 6:27). Help us to get rid of worry in our hearts.
Father, we join Tejasree in her prayer:
Father, all across the globe, hear your childrens’ cries. We want more of you, God. Thank you that we have new life in you, Jesus. Jesus, I just praise you that Tejasree knows you as her Savior and that we’ll get to meet in Heaven some day. In the meantime, I ask that you would grow her relationship with you. Help her with her studies and ultimately finding a new job.
Holy Spirit, make our hearts and souls sensitive. Help us to be sensitive to what is going on in the spirit realm all around us. Help us to be sensitive and empathetic to what others around us are feeling and then give us the wisdom to know how to minister to them. We give you our very lives, God. Do with them what you will. We love you!
