Father, we come to you today and ask that you would strengthen our marriages. Bring us in alignment with you, God, so that we can bring you into our marriage. Father, we need Godly husbands and wives. Give us first a hunger for you and then a heart for our spouses.
Holy Spirit, mend Ken and Angela’s marriage. We don’t know exactly what’s going on, but there’s trouble there, and they need your help. Keep them together and use this trying time in their marriage to make it a stronger union than it ever has been. They need you, Jesus.
Father, we pray against divorce. We pray against infidelity. We pray against selfishness. Anything that would try to tear apart what you have brought together, we bind it up in Jesus’ name right now. We submit ourselves completely to you, Lord, and in doing so, we submit our marriages. Help us to be Jesus in our marriages. How easy would it be to be married to Jesus!? To feel that unconditional love and generosity…wow. Help us to be that for our spouses. We love you, Jesus.
