Lord, thank you for your Word in John chapter 15 verses 1 – 9.
Jesus, help us to abide in your Spirit. Lord, we draw near to you right now for refreshing. You are our strong tower and shelter. You are our foundation. Without you, we are lost. We need you. Soak deep into our hearts and drive out any impurity that would keep us from a closer relationship with you. Give us a hunger for your Word, and help us to persevere in seeking you daily. Teach us more about you. We want personal encounters with you, Holy Spirit. We don’t want to just put in five minutes of book reading. Use your words to open our hearts and show us your love. Thank you, Jesus. We love you.
Father, we pray for Alberta. She desires constant fellowship with you. Help her to know that you’re always there for her, and that constant fellowship is always available.
We also want to come alongside of Andy this morning:
Father, we come into agreement with Andy’s prayer. Cover his friends and relatives with your love and protection. Thank you that we can always trust that you will come through for us, God. And give Andy wisdom when it comes to the new car.
Lastly, we pray for Kwame’s heart disease. Father, you created the human heart and you can heal it. Touch Kwame’s heart and make it whole. Give Kwame’s doctor wisdom for his treatment.
