God, we ask for your wisdom this morning in everything that we do. We want our every word and deed to correspond with your will. We know that we will fall and miss the mark sometimes, but we know that if we seek you and make your Lord of our hearts, we then have your holiness and righteousness.
Father, give Lena your wisdom regarding her engagement. This man seems like a good man, but Lena wants to make sure that he is the one that you have planned for her life. Holy Spirit, give her discernment as to the heart of this man. Does he love you, Jesus? If not, show Lena the truth and reveal the quality of the foundation of the relationship. Show her whether or not it is strong enough to weather the years. Thank you for the plan that you have for Lena’s life.
