Father, watch over your children who are in the various stages of undergoing surgery. For those who have yet to have surgery, we pray for the conditions to be right, that everything would be sterile and that the surgeon would be well-rested and filled with wisdom before he starts.
For people who are undergoing surgery at this very moment, we ask for your protection. Give the surgeon a steady hand and supernatural direction and intuition as to what needs to be done. Help the surgeon to avoid anything that would cause complications. Help them to remember to remove all of their instruments, sponges, gauze, etc.
And for people who have come out of surgery and are recovering, we ask for supernatural healing. We pray against complications in Jesus name. Let recovery times be speedy so that your servants can get back to doing your work in this world, Father. Thank you for being The Great Physician. We love you.
