Father, we also lift up our friend Ashaknaz. We pray for Ashaknaz’s family and their living situation in the United Arab Emirates. It has to be tough being a Christian in a country that is over 3/4 Muslim. I suppose one has no choice but to trust in you, God, and know that you have a plan for their lives. Father, your word says in Matthew 6:26:
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
Help Ashaknaz to internalize that truth, that you are in control, and you will always be there. Thank you, God, for being so faithful.
