In This World, Not Of This World
Father, help us to stay focused on the spirit realm. Of course, there are day to day matters of life, and you told us to occupy until you return, but when we focus on you and our true purpose for being here, it affects our attitude toward the daily matters of life. Holy Spirit, show us when we're becoming consumed by earthly things at the expense of spiritual awareness. Help us to remember why we're on this planet: to live for Jesus. We love you, Lord. We're turning our eyes to you, and we're staying focused on you. You are the prize in this race, Lord. A New Week of Opportunities
Lord, as we set foot into a new week, we ask for an abundance of energy, and for a positive attitude. For those of us who are feeling a bit weary on this Monday, give us an extra portion of your grace to not only get us through, but to have your likeness shine through in us. We want everyone who we come in contact with to feel your touch in their lives. Help them to see Christ in us. We love you, Father. We Want To Glorify You, Jesus
Father, we offer ourselves up as living sacrifices to you. Just as Jesus willingly carried his cross to Calvary and allowed himself to be killed to pay the price for our sins, we take up our cross daily. We want to kill our flesh, and devote our lives to you. In every action, we want to glorify the name of Jesus. Thank you for giving us your holiness and righteousness. Help us to operate in the gifts of your Spirit. Help us to be humble and unashamed of who we are. We are Christians. We believe that Jesus is the Son of the one true God, and that Jesus died and rose from the grave, conquering sin and death. Hallelujah! You are so magnificent, Jesus! By Our Side - A Brand New Week
Father, thank you for being with us always. We claim this new week for you, in your name, Jesus. Help us to live up to the potential that you've instilled in us: the potential to be great warriors for you. Holy Spirit, help us to put on all of our spiritual armor.Keep us walking in humility and kindness. Let the world see the great difference that you've made in our lives. When someone tries to ruffle our feathers, we pray that we can react in your spirit and not by our flesh. And when that happens, we ask that people's heads would turn in surprise and that you will be glorified.
Thank you for the life that you've given us, Father. We love you. You are so precious.
