Our Families - Images of You
Father, help us to represent you in our families. Help us to be Godly husbands, wives, mothers, and fathers. Holy Spirit, reveal to us the facets of your being that we so love, and in fact can't live without, and help us to mirror those facets to our loved ones. We want a spiritually strong family, Lord. We ask for a special helping of blessing and wisdom on the fathers in this world. Help them to be strong spiritual heads of their houses. Thank you for helping us to live our lives to their fullest potential. We love you, Lord.Please join us in prayer for:
Health and healing. Pray that we would all be in good health this month. Pray for Ricardo's HIV and hepatitis levels to stay nominal. Pray against the flu and infections. God, Protect Us After Victory
Lord, when we celebrate a victory with you, that's when Satan would like to swoop in and steal the victory from us. We are so afraid of being complacent. We need you, Jesus. We can't live by ourselves. We cling to you. We don't want to be lax in our relationship with you. Protect us from temptation. If we're attacked by Satan, help us to remember to respond in the Spirit by dropping to our knees and recognizing the situation for what it is rather than just falling into despair. We have your joy in good times and in bad. We claim your joy and victory right now. We are your children, and we will not be separated from our Father. God's Blessed Children
Father, it overwhelms us to know that when you look at us you are just as consumed with unconditional love as we are when we look at our children. You will love us no matter how far we stray, even as much as when we are walking closely with you. Jesus, thank you for paying the price for our sins and for conquering death. Your gift of salvation, the gift of life, is what gives our lives meaning.
