Glory For Our Father - Prayer for Israel
Father, thank you for your lovingkindness. Thank you for pouring out your blessings upon us. It is so comforting to know that we will never be alone; that you will never leave us nor forsake us.Thank you for the beauty of your creation. It's all around us. Help us to continue to develop a Christ-like appreciation for the earth and especially the people around us. We want to be like you, Jesus. We love you.
Please join given life in praying for:
The United States congress and the media and their position concerning Israel. I was listening to the radio yesterday, and it sounds as though they are mounting a campaign to drop support of Israel. There was also news of the US supplying funds to the Palestinian presidential guard. Pray that the government will continue to back Israel through thick and thin (recently the Israel government suffered from a corruption shake-up). Pray that the media would provide unbiased reporting, and that they would not try to skew reporting against Israel.

Prayer for Our Government and World Affairs
Father, guide our government in dealing with Iran. It seems as though their views are fixated on despising the US and Israel. Give our government officials wisdom in how to deal with Iran. Protect our soldiers in Iraq.Give congress wisdom and help them to be logical in cutting through politics and making laws that will actually help people. Help them to make right decisions. Lord, we back Israel. Impress that same importance on the hearts of the members of our Government.
Thank you, for today, Father. Thank you for our blessed lives. We love you.

Prayer for Our Presidents
Father, thank you for watching over our country. We pray for President Bush and the trying times that he is going through and will continue to go through over the coming years. We also ask for your blessing and favor for the next President of the United States. Even now, instill in him/her the wisdom and courage that will be needed to take command over our nation. Lord, restore a sense of respect in our nation's people for the office of President. Remove the spirit of contempt and cynicism that is so popular today. Thank you for our President, Father. Thank you that we live in a democracy. Show us just how blessed we are, and never let us take that for granted. Thank you, Jesus.Labels: Government

Lord, You're Beautiful
Dear Jesus., you are so beautiful. Thank you for your grace that abounds in our lives. Thank you for the blessings that you give to us so bountifully. Thank you for your help this week.Father, we ask for your help with our government. It seems that we've entered turbulent times. Give our leaders wisdom to do the right things with their power. We ask that lies and corruption would be brought to light.
We ask a special blessing on the troops in Iraq. We don't want this to be a dark mark on American history. Work a miracle over there, Father.
We love you, Lord. As we go into the weekend, remove any obstacles that would keep us from your house. Prepare a special time of fellowship between you and your children. We ask that your Holy Spirit would be thick in our churches this weekend. Heal people, Father. Loose people in bondage. We pray that people coming to church this weekend who don't yet know you, will come to know you in the next two days. Hallelujah! Thank you, Jesus. We love you.
