Men Of God
Father, we pray for the men of this world. Make them tender hearted. Bring them to a point where they love you so deeply that it makes them better, stronger men of God. Show them that they are incomplete without you; that there is no benefit to being stubbornly confident in their own capabilities. Drive home the truth, Lord, that we can only be confident in ourselves when we are wholly dependent on you for our strength, peace, and character. The world needs strong men of God now. Send a call through your Spirit to the hearts of men who don't know you, Jesus.We also pray for the men who already know you, but who need to continue growing closer to you (really all Christian men). Specifically, we pray for David and Will. These two men are dealing with some tough problems. Increase their awareness of just how good life is in you, Jesus. Show them that there's no point in trying to "fix themselves", and that worrying won't settle their circumstances. You are sovereign in their lives and in the entire world. We lift these men of God up to you right now, Father. Touch their hearts. Thank you, Jesus.
