Offshore oil rigs. I'm not sure why, but I feel as though we're supposed to pray a pray of protection over an offshore oil rig. There are several in the news. One article was about the possibility of terrorist attacks against offshore rigs. Another was about a new offshore rig that was going to provide Brazil with oil independence. Yet another was a rig that China is drilling 9,000 meters deep. Any of these could be in danger. Pray for their safety and for the safety of the workers on the rigs. Pray that these rigs would operate without polluting the oceans.

Lord, we ask that after 6 years of divorce, you would restore S's marriage. Holy Spirit, bring your reconciliation. Make the changes necessary in S's heart and in the heart of her husband so that they can be brought back together. Draw them close to you, God. Use people and situations to bring them closer to you than they have ever been so that when they do reunite, they will talk for the rest of their lives together about the miracle that you worked in each of their hearts. Lord, we recognize that S can't do this by herself. None of us can make these things happen. We can only submit ourselves to you - lay our marriages at your feet and ask you to take over. Then you will mold us into the husbands and wives that we are called to be. And you will clear Satan out of our relationships and homes. It won't be easy, Lord. We know that.
