Given Life seeks to spread the Gospel of the one Messiah, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, but it will also work toward the strengthening of believers.

Our spiritual messages are usually be pretty practical in nature and totally Spirit-lead. We're not about putting just any old Christian catch-phrase up there. We want this to be God's website, and we want God to deliver the messages. From time to time we'll also post a guest message from one of our online friends.

We use online prayer to try to strengthen the prayer lives of the millions of people on the Internet. These prayers will range from global issues, to prayers for changes in ourselves, to prayers for specific incidents and people. Please pray with us daily on certain matters, and feel free to send us your prayer requests.

Online Discussion We know that there are thousands people on the Internet that love to argue. One thing that many of these people live to argue about is religion. While we believe there's a difference between religion and a real relationship with Jesus, we would like these differences of opinion to be a platform for discussion. Our hope is that non-believers will through their best curve-balls our way, and we'll answer back. This will provide a learning experience for Christians and non-christians alike.  The Bible says,  "...always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence" (1 Pet. 3:15).

The Church In The News is an important page. The body of Christ needs to know what is going on in the world, how the news affects the church, and how the church is affecting the world. We anticipate that not all of this news will be good, but regardless of the nature of the news, we just need to be in the know.

Finding a Church Home is the most crucial part of this website if you don't already have a church that you regularly attend and feel comfortable in. Your church home is a center for encouragement, love, and accountability that is difficult to get anywhere else, including the Internet. You can email an encouraging word, but you can't hold a weeping brother or sister via modem. Being a part of a church is about ministering to people as well as being ministered to. The regular services will help you grow closer to God by making His worship a part of your social life. Church can't substitute for a daily walk with God. It is however, an opportunity for corporate worship, and it's an opportunity for God to use your pastor to touch your heart with a sermon.
